Bitdefender launches GravityZone Exposure Management tool
Bitdefender has released GravityZone Exposure Management, a security platform designed to help organizations identify, prioritize, and mitigate critical security exposures. The tool maps potential attack paths across a company’s internal and external systems, highlighting specific vulnerabilities such as unpatched software, insecure settings, and risky user behaviors.
The platform includes an External Attack Surface Management component to monitor internet-facing assets for misconfigured services, shadow IT, and exposed subdomains. To combat 'living-off-the-land' attacks, the tool features PHASR, which monitors user behavior to autonomously restrict access to tools like PowerShell based on actual necessity.
Bitdefender developed the solution to assist lean security teams facing resource constraints and the rise of AI-driven cyberattacks. According to Andrei Florescu, President and GM of Bitdefender Business Solutions Group, the tool provides control over expanding attack surfaces in an era where automated scanning makes it easier for adversaries to find footholds.
