Bitdefender offers security software trials and family protection plans

Bitdefender is offering promotional deals for its security software following high ratings from IMTEST. The Bitdefender Total Security package, which received a 'very good' rating of 1.48 in April 2025, is available for a three-month free trial for IMTEST readers. Following the trial, the software can be purchased for one year at half price until October 30, 2026.

The software provides protection against viruses, Trojans, ransomware, and phishing attempts. Key features include a cryptomining prevention tool, an encrypted password manager, data leak monitoring, and a standard VPN providing up to 200 MB of daily data traffic.

Additionally, Bitdefender offers Family packages designed for multi-user households. These plans can cover up to five people and a total of 25 devices, including PCs, Macs, smartphones, and tablets, providing a centralized management solution for digital security across various platforms.
