BitFuFu and Finloop launch Hashrate Token for Bitcoin mining exposure

BitFuFu Inc., a Singapore-based Bitcoin mining company, has partnered with wealth technology platform Finloop to launch the Hashrate Token (HASH). The product is a BTC-denominated on-chain note with returns linked directly to the economic output of the Bitcoin mining hashrate managed by BitFuFu.

Deployed on the Ethereum and Solana blockchains, the HASH token allows eligible investors to gain exposure to mining rewards without owning or operating physical hardware. Unlike lending-based yield products, payouts are drawn from newly mined Bitcoin rather than interest paid by borrowers. The notes carry a twelve-month term, with returns prorated based on the investor's actual holding period. All transactions, including issuance and profit distributions, are recorded on-chain via Finloop’s FinRWA platform.

The launch follows a period of financial volatility for BitFuFu. SEC filings for the second quarter of 2026 showed a significant revenue decline to $42.8 million from $115.4 million the previous year, alongside a net loss of $20.5 million. The company aims to use the tokenized product to access a broader pool of investors as the Bitcoin market recovers.
