Bitget ranks second in ETH liquidity depth for H1 2026, CoinGlass report shows

Bitget, the world’s largest Universal Exchange, posted US$81.37 million of ETH order‑book depth within ±1% of the mid‑price in the first half of 2026, representing a 21.4% share of venues and placing it second behind Binance. For Bitcoin, the exchange recorded US$71.70 million of order‑book depth, a 13.4% share that ranked fourth among the surveyed platforms.

According to the CoinGlass semi‑annual cryptocurrency derivatives market report, total crypto‑derivatives trading volume fell 15.7% year‑over‑year and average daily open interest dropped 10.0%, indicating a slowdown in activity while risk exposure remained relatively higher. Bitget CEO Gracy Chen noted that liquidity depth has become a core measure of an exchange’s trust and performance amid this environment.

The exchange also disclosed that institutional spot‑trading volume on its platform rose to 82% by December 2025 and that it upgraded its PRO and Liquidity Incentive programmes in early July to improve cost structures and market‑making incentives. Additionally, Bitget recorded US$66.41 billion of TradFi perpetual‑contract volume in H1 2026, giving it a 5.5% share among the five sampled exchanges, highlighting growing demand for traditional‑finance exposure through crypto‑native infrastructure.
