Bitget Wallet launches USD and EUR virtual accounts
Bitget Wallet has introduced a ‘Virtual Account’ feature that provides users with personal USD and EUR account numbers directly within its self-custodial wallet. Developed in partnership with the stablecoin payments provider Noah, the service allows incoming bank transfers via ACH, Fedwire, SEPA, or SWIFT to be automatically converted into USDT or USDC stablecoins.
The service is designed to assist freelancers, cross-border workers, and individuals receiving remittances by providing easier access to foreign-currency banking. While the accounts are not traditional bank accounts and currently only support incoming transfers, Bitget Wallet plans to implement outbound transfers in the coming months.
Usage is subject to specific limits: USD deposits are capped at $10,000 per transaction and $20,000 per month, while EUR deposits are capped at €15,000 per transaction and €30,000 per month. Users must reside in a supported region and complete identity verification (KYC) to access the service.
