Bitmine Immersion Technologies shares rise as Cantor Fitzgerald doubles price target
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) shares rose approximately 8% following a significant price target revision by Cantor Fitzgerald. The firm doubled its price target for the company from $30.60 to $63.60, maintaining an ‘Outperform’ or ‘Overweight’ rating.
Bitmine has transitioned from a liquid-immersion cooling provider for mining hardware into a company that utilizes public-market capital to build an Ethereum treasury. The company currently holds approximately 5.93 million ETH, making its stock a leveraged proxy for the price movements of the digital asset. Cantor Fitzgerald noted that the company is also exploring staking and validator initiatives to generate yield from its holdings.
The analyst update also suggested a broader re-rating for the crypto-adjacent sector, with Cantor adjusting targets for other names like SharpLink Gaming. The firm expressed an outlook that the current crypto bear market drawdown may find a floor around October 2026.
