BitMine's Ethereum Treasury Nears 5% of Supply, Valued at $10 B

BitMine Immersion Technologies reported buying 76,881 Ether in the past week, bringing its total holdings to 5,620,754 ETH. The stash represents about 4.66% of Ethereum's circulating supply and is close to the company's 5% target. At the time of reporting, the portfolio was valued at roughly $10.2 billion, with an average acquisition price of $1,718 per ETH and an unrealized loss of nearly $9 billion as ETH traded around $1,843.69. BitMine has also staked more than 4.1 million ETH, worth about $8.1 billion, generating ongoing protocol rewards despite price weakness. The firm continues to accumulate Ether and increase its staking footprint even as the broader crypto market endures a prolonged bear phase and Ethereum‑related ETFs experience outflows.
