Bitonto launches €311,597 road refurbishment project
The municipality of Bitonto has awarded a contract to TE. BE Tecnologia Bioedilizia S.r.l. of San Giorgio Ionico to carry out extraordinary road maintenance and safety works on four city arteries – viale Professor Giuseppe Lazzati, via Paolo Scoppio, viale Europa and the Largo Porzia round‑about. The project is funded with €311,597.03 from the regional "Strada per Strada" programme allocated by the Regione Puglia and will be managed by the Comune di Bitonto's Servizio Lavori Pubblici.
The contract value is €212,252.08. Municipal urban‑decoration assessor Giuseppe Santoruvo praised the work, saying it will secure an area important for local enterprises and artisans that has needed intervention for a long time.
