Bitpanda faces investigation into token claims by Vienna law firm

The Vienna-based law firm Aigner Lehner Zuschin is investigating potential investor claims against Bitpanda regarding the Bitpanda Ecosystem Token (BEST), the former Pantos token (PAN), and the resulting Vision token (VSN).

The investigation focuses on whether the tokens were issued in accordance with what was promised to investors. Potential legal grounds for claims include rescission of purchase agreements, damages, and liability related to whitepapers. The firm is exploring whether a reversal of transactions—returning tokens in exchange for funds—is possible.

This development follows a €70,000 fine imposed on Bitpanda GmbH by the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) due to MiCAR violations concerning the Vision whitepaper.
