Bitpanda reports 14 million euro loss and CEO transition

Austrian financial services provider Bitpanda has reported a 14 million euro loss for 2025, despite achieving record revenues. This follows a profitable previous year in which the crypto investment platform recorded a 62 million euro profit.

In addition to the financial downturn, the company announced that CEO Lukas Enzersdorfer-Konrad will depart in the first quarter of 2027 to join Erste Group Bank. This transition comes shortly after he assumed his current role in August.

Bitpanda serves as a major sponsor for FC Basel until 2028 and is also a partner for FC Bayern Munich and Arsenal. Regarding the sponsorship, FC Basel stated that Bitpanda remains a valued and reliable partner that continues to fulfill all contractual obligations.
