BitSummit High 2027 announced for Kyoto

BitSummit High indie games Kyoto Japan Independent Games Association gaming industry

The BitSummit Executive Committee and the Japan Independent Games Association (JIGA) have announced that the 2027 edition of the indie game festival, titled ‘BitSummit High’, will take place from May 21 to May 23, 2027, at Miyako Messe in Kyoto, Japan.

The event theme, ‘High / Reaching New Heights’, is intended to represent the challenge of reaching new milestones and the excitement shared between developers and players. The schedule includes a dedicated Business Day for industry professionals on May 21, followed by public days on May 22 and 23.

Organizers have officially partnered with HIS to provide travel and accommodation support for domestic and international exhibitors, sponsors, and visitors. Applications for sponsors and corporate exhibitors are currently open.
