Bittnet Group reports profit while Aquila faces first semi-annual loss

Bittnet Group reported a consolidated net profit of 8.5 million lei for the first half of the year, driven significantly by the sale of the company Elian, which generated a profit of 12.8 million lei. The group's consolidated turnover reached 126 million lei, a 41% increase compared to the first half of 2025. Service revenues doubled during this period, rising from 26 million lei to 50.5 million lei.

In its education division, Bittnet recorded record revenues of 29.3 million lei and an operating profit of 4 million lei, bolstered by large-scale cybersecurity training projects for the public sector.

Separately, Aquila Part Prod Com, a consumer goods distributor listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, reported its first semi-annual loss in its history, totaling 21.1 million lei for the first half of 2026, compared to a profit of 29.3 million lei in the same period the previous year. Despite these financial results, the company's share price rose by over 50% from its 52-week low, reaching a market capitalization of 2.34 billion lei.
