Bitwise poll shows 60% of wealth managers plan crypto allocations

A poll of approximately 400 wealth managers conducted by Bitwise Asset Management reveals that 67% of respondents currently have no cryptocurrency allocation in their clients' portfolios. Despite this lack of current exposure, there is a strong signal of future adoption, with 60% of those polled stating they plan to add a crypto allocation within the next 12 months.

Sentiment regarding market performance is also positive, as 60% of respondents expect cryptocurrency prices to be higher by the end of 2026. Discussions during the presentation included various digital assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP, as well as broader industry themes like tokenization, stablecoins, and regulatory developments.

While the poll showed a growing trend, broader research indicates that the industry is still in an early stage of adoption. Data from the Bitwise/VettaFi Benchmark Survey noted that 32% of financial advisors had allocated to crypto in 2025, up from 22% in 2024. It is noted that the Bitwise findings stem from an audience poll at a specific event rather than a randomized, statistically representative survey of the entire wealth management sector.
