Bivo develops stainless steel water bottles for cyclists

Bivo, founded by Carina Hamel and Robby Ringer, is developing stainless steel water bottles designed specifically for cyclists to replace traditional plastic versions. While the cycling market is currently dominated by lightweight and inexpensive plastic bottles, Bivo aims to address issues such as scratches, discoloration, and persistent odors common in plastic containers.

The company's stainless steel bottles are designed to fit into standard bicycle bottle cages. To facilitate drinking without the ability to squeeze the container, Bivo has implemented a specialized ‘Gravity-Flow-System’ to manage liquid transport. The products utilize a combination of stainless steel and food-grade silicone.
