Bivona: School worker attacked during attempted theft

A 63-year-old school employee was attacked in Bivona, Italy, during an attempted theft of school keys. Two individuals wearing balaclavas reportedly approached the woman while she was opening the gates of the Luigi Pirandello high school.

The victim sustained a finger injury while attempting to prevent the theft and required medical attention. The suspects fled the scene on foot.

The incident occurred shortly before a peaceful demonstration involving approximately 200 students protesting the rising cost of living.
