BIX 2026 announces keynote speakers for biotech convention

The BIOPLUS-INTERPHEX KOREA 2026 (BIX 2026) convention has announced its keynote speakers and opened registration. Hosted by the Korea Biotechnology Industry Organization (KoreaBIO) and organized by RX, the event serves as a business platform for international companies, research institutions, and investors to explore biotechnology collaborations.

The conference will feature specialized programs covering market trends, investment strategies, and biotechnology developments. Keynote sessions are scheduled to focus on two primary areas: the use of stem cells in treating nervous system diseases and current merger and acquisition (M&A) trends within the global pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.

On October 28, keynote speaker Temple, Co-founder and Scientific Director of the Neural Stem Cell Institute, will discuss how human stem cell technologies are transforming disease modeling, drug discovery, and cell therapy for nervous system diseases. On October 29, Stuart Cable, Global Head of Mergers & Acquisitions and Vice Chair at Goodwin, will present on biopharmaceutical M&A trends.
