Biznet expands digital infrastructure and AI data centers
Marking its 26th anniversary, Indonesian telecommunications provider Biznet is significantly expanding its digital infrastructure to meet rising demands for high-capacity connectivity and artificial intelligence (AI) computing.
The company is developing the Biznet AI Center in Bali, its first AI-ready data center. This facility features liquid cooling technology, a power capacity of up to 145 kW per rack, and dedicated AI development laboratories. This expansion is intended to support the growing trend of remote work in Bali and the increasing integration of AI in the Indonesian workforce.
To enhance national connectivity, Biznet is planning the Biznet Nusantara Cable System-2 (BNCS-2), a new undersea fiber optic cable network. This system is designed to connect Surabaya, Banjarmasin, Sumenep, and Buleleng. Currently, the company’s network reaches over 200 cities and regencies across Indonesia, supported by more than 3 million homepasses and 300 branch offices.
