Biznet Gio Flags $253 M Downtime Threat, Rolls Out Hybrid Cloud Solution

Industry leaders warn that unplanned downtime can cost large manufacturers up to USD 253 million per year, disrupting production, revenue, labor costs and reputation. The True Cost of Downtime 2024 report highlighted these losses, prompting calls for stronger infrastructure resilience.

Biznet Gio’s Vice‑President of Marketing, Hari Syah Agam, said the growing reliance on digital systems makes downtime a critical operational risk. Citing Flexera’s 2026 State of the Cloud Report, he noted that 73 % of organisations have already adopted hybrid‑cloud strategies to avoid single points of failure. In response, Biznet Gio partnered with Rainer Server of Indo Mega Vision to launch the GIO Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, combining cloud and on‑premise resources to provide redundancy and maintain business continuity.

The move reflects a broader shift in the industrial sector toward hybrid cloud deployments as a safeguard against costly outages.
