Bjarke Christensen leads amateur racing as Maia Howell prepares for World Championships

In harness racing at Fyns Væddeløbsbane, amateur Bjarke Christensen secured two significant victories in the V4 game. Driving Jay Jay to a record-breaking win and subsequently winning with Kramersking, Christensen has moved into the lead for the amateur championship with nine wins compared to his closest competitor's five.

In cycling, Danish junior Maia Howell prepares for the junior women's road race at the World Championships in Montreal. Following the withdrawal of Ida Fiallas, Howell will be the sole Danish female junior rider in the field, meaning she will lack teammates for support. She faces strong competition, notably from Spanish talent Alejandra Neira, the reigning Spanish junior champion.
