Bjelovar and Slovenian retailers prepare for All Saints' Day sales

In preparation for All Saints' Day, the City of Bjelovar has opened a public tender for the rental of sales locations in front of the Borik and Sveti Andrija cemeteries. Registered legal and physical entities can apply to sell items such as candles, seasonal products, roasted chestnuts, popcorn, and sweets. A total of 31 locations are designated for candle sales, with rental prices starting at 79.63 euros. Other locations for snacks and seasonal goods are available starting from 13.27 euros, with an application deadline of October 15.

In Slovenia, retailers are offering various discounts on grave candles ahead of November 1. Prices for classic candles range from approximately 1.15 to 2.79 euros across different stores. Major retailers including Mercator, Tuš, SPAR, EuroSpin, and Lidl are providing promotional deals, including discounts on solar-powered and electronic candles. Some stores are offering up to 50 percent discounts on specific candle sets or through loyalty programs.
