Bjelovar completes new school construction under budget

A new school building in Bjelovar, Croatia, has been completed at a cost approximately one million euros less than originally planned. The Područne škole Sjever facility, designed for 700 students, has successfully passed its technical inspection.

Mayor Dario Hrebak noted that the project was largely funded by the Ministry of Education, European funds, and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, with the city of Bjelovar contributing only about 150,000 euros. The school is expected to begin operations during the second half of the school year following a period of equipment installation.
