BJP National President Nitin Nabin has announced a major organizational reshuffle to strengthen the party ahead of upcoming assembly elections, including the 2027 polls in states like Uttar Pradesh. The new national team features a strategic balance of experienced leaders and younger faces, with a mandated 33 percent reservation for women in office-bearer positions.

Key appointments include the return of Smriti Irani as a National General Secretary and Vasundhara Raje Scindia as a National Vice-President. Ram Madhav also returns to the central organization as a National Vice-President. Other notable appointments include Piyush Goyal as National Treasurer and the replacement of Amit Malviya with Deepak Mhaskey as the head of the social media/IT department.

The restructuring includes 13 National Vice-Presidents, 8 National General Secretaries, and 16 National Secretaries. The new team also aims to enhance social outreach by appointing leaders for various morchas, including OBC, minority, and SC/ST wings.
