BJP holds strategic meeting in Srinagar ahead of J&K Assembly session
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a state office-bearers meeting in Srinagar to coordinate strategy ahead of the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly session. The meeting, attended by Union Minister Jitendra Singh, brought together party leaders from various regions of the Union Territory to discuss public concerns and governance issues.
During the meeting, Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Leader of the Opposition Sunil Sharma criticized Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, alleging that the Chief Minister “does not like the opposition.” Sharma stated that the BJP intends to present its work and role to the public and the Assembly during the upcoming proceedings.
Additionally, J&K Waqf Board Chairperson and Minister of State Syed Darakhshan Andrabi commented on the role of the opposition, noting that while the opposition will naturally perform its duties, they often criticize the progress made under current national leadership.
