BJP leader N. Ramchander Rao vows intensified protests against Telangana government
BJP state president N. Ramchander Rao has announced plans to intensify agitations against the Congress-led government in Telangana following August 15. Rao accused the state government of failing in its responsibilities and claimed that certain policies, specifically referencing HYDRAA and HILT, are obstructing regional development.
Addressing political tensions, Rao criticized Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi for disrupting Parliament instead of engaging in debate regarding student protests and the NEET paper leak. He alleged that while the Union government has taken responsibility for certain incidents, the Congress-JMM alliance has failed to address issues in Jharkhand and is practicing “politics of convenience.”
Additionally, Rao raised concerns regarding land exploitation and the impact of the Hyderabad Industrial Lands Transformation (HILT) policy on employment. He also expressed support for ethanol-blended petrol, arguing it benefits farmers and saves foreign exchange, while criticizing the opposition's stance on the matter.
