BJP leader Sumit Mishra compares Jitu Patwari to Rakhi Sawant

Political tensions have escalated in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, following controversial remarks by BJP City President Sumit Mishra regarding Congress State President Jitu Patwari. During a press conference, Mishra compared Patwari to Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant, labeling him the ‘male Rakhi Sawant’ of the Congress party. Mishra alleged that Patwari uses provocative statements and social media to stay in the headlines and constantly targets Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and the BJP government.

The remarks follow an incident where Patwari mocked the Chief Minister after the latter became emotional during a development project in Ujjain.

The Indian National Congress has condemned the comments. AICC media coordinator Nilabh Shukla described the personal comparison as deplorable, stating that the BJP is using personal insults to avoid answering political questions regarding unemployment, inflation, and the welfare of farmers and youth.
