BJP leader TR Srinivas urges focus on safety after Delhi building collapse

BJP leader TR Srinivas has called for a focus on structural safety rather than political disputes following the building collapse at Satya Niketan in Delhi. Expressing grief over the incident, Srinivas responded to demands for accountability made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that political rhetoric should not overshadow the need for safety measures.

Srinivas also raised concerns regarding building safety in Telangana, citing an unauthorized six-story building in Anjad Nagar that was declared unsafe. He questioned why the Congress party has not sought similar accountability for alleged irregularities and unsafe structures in Telangana.

Additionally, the BJP leader praised the central government's management of LPG supplies, noting that the booking period has been reduced from 45 to 25 days due to strengthened supply chains and increased domestic production under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
