BJP leaders accuse Rahul Gandhi of hijacking student protests over NEET paper leak

BJP officials Shyam Rajak of Janata Dal (United) and national general secretary Rituraj Sinha publicly denounced Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi for using the student protests against a NEET exam paper leak as a political instrument. Both urged young people not to become tools of any party and emphasized that the Modi government is prepared to discuss the NEET paper‑leak issue and take action against those responsible.

The protests took place outside the Prime Minister’s residence in New Delhi, and the BJP leaders claimed that the demonstrations were timed to influence public opinion ahead of elections. They also referenced allegations surrounding activist Abhijit Deepak and student leader Sonam Wangchuk, accusing them of partisan motives. The parties reiterated that the central government remains sensitive to the NEET leak and will enforce the law.
