BJP leaders criticize Rahul Gandhi over Election Commission remarks
BJP legislators Ranbir Singh Pathania and Dr. Sunil Bhardwaj have criticized Rahul Gandhi for his recent statements regarding the Election Commission of India and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The leaders accused the Congress party of attempting to create confusion among the public regarding the electoral process and undermining constitutional institutions.
Pathania addressed allegations of electoral malpractice and vote theft, suggesting that such rhetoric stems from the Congress party's inability to accept declining electoral support. He emphasized that India operates under the rule of law and that any evidence against institutions like the Election Commission, Supreme Court, or investigative agencies should be presented through proper legal channels rather than through public disparagement.
Dr. Sunil Bhardwaj further countered the claims by urging the Congress party to reflect on its own history regarding corruption allegations. He stated that responsible leaders must adhere to facts and legal procedures, noting that individuals cannot be deemed guilty based solely on statements without legal recourse.
