BJP leaders demand ban on AAP leaders entering Punjab

BJP leaders Sunil Jakhar and Tarun Chugh have criticized the Bhagwant Mann-led government in Punjab, alleging a severe drug crisis and a deteriorating law and order situation. Jakhar reported the recent death of a 16-year-old boy in Jalalabad, Fazilka district, due to alleged drug abuse, noting that the boy's father had also died from drug-related causes.

In response to these issues, Jakhar announced plans to write to the Governor and send a delegation to the Election Commission to request the immediate implementation of the Code of Conduct. Furthermore, Jakhar stated his intention to approach the High Court or the Supreme Court to seek a legal ban on the entry of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia into the state, characterizing the matter as a constitutional issue.
