BJP leaders hold cleanliness drives in Delhi for Quit India Day

As part of the Independence Day week celebrating the 80th anniversary of India's independence, BJP leaders in Delhi conducted cleanliness drives at various monuments dedicated to freedom fighters and martyrs on Quit India Day.

New Delhi MP Bansuri Swaraj led activities at the Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Park, where she paid tribute to the freedom fighter. Swaraj addressed workers, stating, "Today reminds us that nation comes first," and called for a commitment to building a developed India that honors the sacrifices of national heroes.

Other local leaders participated in similar commemorative activities. MLA Shikha Roy organized a cleanliness pledge at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose memorial in CR Park, while MLA Ajay Mahawar and BJP Vice President Vinod Bacheti led drives at the memorials of Martyr Mahesh Chand Sharma and Martyr Major Asharam Tyagi, respectively.
