BJP MLA Ramniwas Shah faces scrutiny over alleged use of fire brigade to wash private car

A viral video has sparked controversy in Madhya Pradesh’s Singrauli district, allegedly showing a government fire brigade vehicle being used to wash the private car of BJP MLA Ramniwas Shah.

The footage shows fire brigade personnel using a high-pressure hose from a stationed vehicle to clean a Toyota Innova parked outside the MLA’s official residence in Bilounji. The incident has led to accusations of the misuse of taxpayer-funded emergency resources for personal tasks.

Opposition leaders have criticized the act, with Congress leader and former minister PC Sharma describing the incident as an example of arrogance and misuse of public assets. As of the latest reports, neither MLA Shah nor the relevant district administration has issued an official response regarding the incident or whether a departmental inquiry will be conducted.
