Nitin Nabin begins two-day organizational visit to West Bengal

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin has commenced a two-day organizational visit to West Bengal, aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots presence and reviewing its functioning. The visit comes ahead of upcoming bypolls in Nandigram and Rejinagar, as well as municipal elections scheduled for November.

During his itinerary in Kolkata, Nabin participated in a session to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio broadcast alongside state leaders, including West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari. His schedule includes high-level strategy meetings with the party’s core committee, MPs, MLAs, and state cabinet members to determine future political strategies in the region.

A key focus of Nabin’s visit is organizational discipline. He has instructed district leadership to exercise caution regarding new members joining the party, emphasizing the need to verify their political backgrounds and alignment with party principles. Additionally, he urged party workers to maintain polite and restrained behavior when interacting with the public.

Following the West Bengal visit, Nabin is scheduled to chair a significant meeting on September 29 for all newly appointed state in-charges and co-in-charges. This meeting will focus on organizational priorities and election preparedness for several states, including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand.
