Nitin Nabin visits Patna for Durga Puja and BJP organizational meetings

BJP National President Nitin Nabin is conducting a two-day visit to Patna, Bihar, on October 17 and 18. The visit serves a dual purpose: participating in Durga Puja festivities and addressing party organizational matters.

Nabin is scheduled to visit several Durga Puja pandals, including the historic Dak Bungalow Chauraha, to offer prayers. Alongside these religious observances, he will hold meetings with senior party leaders and workers to discuss organizational strengthening and strategy for the upcoming Bihar Legislative Council (MLC) elections. The BJP is contesting four of the eight available MLC seats, with polling set for October 23.

Due to the festivities and the high-profile visit, Patna authorities have implemented significant traffic restrictions. From October 17 through October 20, certain routes between Dak Bungalow Chauraha and Kotwali will be closed to most vehicles, though emergency services are exempt. Various diversions and entry controls have been established to manage crowds and facilitate movement within the Patna Municipal Corporation area.
