BJP President Nitin Nabin visits West Bengal for party revamp

BJP National President Nitin Nabin is conducting a two-day visit to West Bengal starting September 15. Accompanied by All-India General Secretary (Organisation) B. L. Santhosh, Nabin will hold several organizational meetings with state party leadership.

The visit follows the announcement of a new central committee and aims to address several key issues, including the formation of a new state committee and necessary organizational reshuffles. Leadership intends to provide guidelines to improve coordination between the party organization and the state government.

Discussions are also expected to cover organizational lapses, such as conflicts between new and veteran party workers and allegations of corruption at the grassroots level. Additionally, the leadership will likely finalize strategies for upcoming urban civic body elections, including municipal corporations and municipalities.
