BJP reorganizes Himachal Pradesh structure to strengthen grassroots presence

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Himachal Pradesh is undergoing a significant organizational restructuring to strengthen its presence at the grassroots level. BJP Himachal Pradesh President Rajeev Bindal announced that the party has reorganized its previous 74 mandals into 171 mandals and established 17 organizational districts across the state.

To support this expansion, the party will deploy 171 Vistaraks, one for each mandal, to work alongside Mandal Presidents. The party has also established organizational structures at approximately 8,000 polling booths. A two-day training camp is being held in Hamirpur to reinforce this system, which includes monthly meetings at the booth level.

In addition to organizational updates, Bindal criticized the current state government regarding its financial management. He highlighted the Himachal Pradesh Government's recent ₹600 crore market borrowing, noting that total announced market borrowings for the current financial year have reached approximately ₹4,800 crore. Bindal called for transparency regarding how borrowed funds are being utilized for development.
