BJP spokesperson addresses UP appointments and Ayodhya investigation
BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi has addressed several key political developments in Uttar Pradesh, including the appointment of Vinod Tawde as the new party in-charge for the state. Tripathi noted that Tawde’s extensive experience in organizational strategy and electoral management is expected to energize party workers ahead of upcoming elections.
Regarding the investigation into alleged donation thefts related to the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, Tripathi confirmed that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has submitted its final report to the Home Department. The investigation, which was expanded following Supreme Court directions, utilized scientific evidence and witness testimonies. Tripathi stated that legal action will be taken against individuals recommended in the report.
Additionally, Tripathi commented on the controversy surrounding ‘Vande Mataram,’ urging political opponents not to turn the national symbol into a point of political dispute, describing it instead as a symbol of national consciousness.
