BJP spokesperson criticizes Jharkhand government over student protests

BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdev has criticized the Jharkhand state government regarding its handling of student protests, alleging that the voices of students are being suppressed in the state.

Commenting on Independence Day addresses, Shahdev highlighted the central government's focus on youth development through initiatives like the Mudra Yojana, Stand-Up India, and various innovation schemes. He noted that approximately 45 crore Mudra loans have been issued to support entrepreneurship without collateral.

Regarding social and political issues, Shahdev defended the central government's provision for 33 percent women's reservation, accusing opposition parties of failing to support the amendment. He also addressed the concept of ‘urban naxals,’ stating that while security forces have reduced Naxalism's physical influence, vigilance is needed against those promoting the ideology in cities.

Additionally, Shahdev commented on the Lok Sabha Privileges Committee's notice to Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that the Congress leader should take responsibility for his statements to maintain parliamentary decorum.
