BJP launches month-long campaign for Narendra Modi’s birthday
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is launching a month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Campaign’ from September 17 to October 17 to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday. The campaign also highlights his 25 years in public service, dating back to his first term as Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001.
The initiative includes 13 major programs designed to connect with various social sectors. Key activities include the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ event involving the lighting of lamps, art and speech competitions for children titled ‘25 Crore Bachon Ke Sapno Ka Bharat’, and street plays through ‘Namo Seva Gatha’ to communicate government schemes. Additionally, the ‘Aangan Ka Utsav’ program aims to engage approximately 1.4 million Anganwadi workers.
In Gujarat, the party has organized workshops to prepare officials and workers for the month of service. Local activities in Ahmedabad will include lighting one lakh lamps and conducting street plays across 48 wards to promote good governance and development.
