BJYM activists protest against Priyanka Gandhi and Ramesh Chennithala in Kerala

Members of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) staged protests in the Kozhikode district of Kerala, waving black flags at Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala.

The protests occurred in two separate locations. In Kuttiady, demonstrators intercepted Chennithala’s convoy near Janakikadu. In Thiruvananthapuram, protesters approached Priyanka Gandhi’s convoy near Thambalamanna. Despite the presence of the Central Reserve Police Force and Kerala Police, protesters managed to reach the vehicles to display black flags.

Local police intervened in both instances, arresting several BJYM leaders, including district president VV Sreehari and general secretary Nitin Madhusudanan. These actions were framed by the BJYM as a retaliatory response to recent protests by Youth Congress workers against Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Kollam. The BJYM has indicated that further protests against Congress leaders will continue in the region.
