BKB 60 set for Newcastle debut at Utilita Arena
Bare Knuckle Boxing (BKB) will make its debut in Newcastle on October 10 at the Utilita Arena. The event, BKB 60, features a main event where super welterweight champion Rolando Dy defends his 154-pound title against veteran Scott McHugh. Dy holds a 6-1 record, while McHugh is a five-time BKB titlist with a 17-5 record.
Former IBF world champion and Olympian Joseph Diaz Jr. will compete in the United Kingdom for the first time, facing Brian Hyslop in a super lightweight bout. Diaz, who previously won his bare-knuckle debut via knockout in Los Angeles, enters the fight with a professional boxing background that includes matches against Devin Haney and Gary Russell Jr.
The card also includes a bout between Adel Altamimi and Liam Howell, as well as a heavyweight co-main event featuring Mark O'Neil and Kamil Sokolowski. The main card is scheduled to air on VICE TV and Telemundo in the United States, and TalkSPORT in the UK and Ireland.
