BKH conducts security checks at Bradasheshit pre-trial detention center

The National Investigation Bureau (BKH) has carried out unexpected inspections at the Bradasheshit pre-trial detention center in Elbasan, Albania. During the operation, authorities discovered and seized several mobile phones within various cells. It is currently unclear which detainees possessed the devices or how they entered the secure facility.

Among the individuals held at the facility is Ergys Agasi, who was arrested following investigations into the National Agency for Information Society (AKSHI). This marks the second major inspection at the facility within a month; a previous operation ordered by SPAK resulted in the seizure of alcoholic beverages and wireless devices in the sector where Agasi is held.
