BKK introduces free MOL Bubi bike coupons for BudapestGO users

BKK is introducing new benefits for BudapestGO users to encourage the use of public transport and bike-sharing services. Starting September 28, passengers who purchase a BudapestGO pass with a minimum validity of 30 days will be eligible to receive ten free MOL Bubi coupons per month. These coupons allow for up to 30 minutes of free use of classic MOL Bubi bicycles.

Users with quarterly passes will receive these monthly coupon packages for three consecutive months, while annual pass holders will receive them for twelve months. The coupons are delivered via email and must be used within 30 days of registration.

Additionally, BKK is expanding the Mobi-point network, integrating more than 400 new locations into the MOL Bubi service as of September 15. This expansion aims to increase station density, reducing the typical distance between pick-up and drop-off points from 300–400 meters to as little as 100–150 meters.

A software update for the BudapestGO app, expected around September 29, will also introduce a feature to assist metro commuters by suggesting the most efficient part of the train to board for faster transfers and exits.
