BKPM and IWIP strengthen partnerships with 160 MSMEs in North Maluku

The Indonesian Ministry of Investment/BKPM and PT Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park (IWIP) have strengthened inclusive partnerships to boost the capacity and competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in North Maluku.

Through a national business partnership policy dissemination event in Ternate, 160 MSMEs were introduced to IWIP and various industrial park tenants. The initiative aims to provide local businesses with better access to markets, financing, and industrial supply chains. The program included business matching sessions where tenants outlined their requirements for goods and services through specific scopes of work and bills of quantities.

Local government officials noted that such investments should provide broad benefits to the community by opening opportunities for local entrepreneurs to integrate into the industrial ecosystem.
