Békés County welcomes eight new foster families

Eight new foster families have been welcomed by the Szent Ágota Child Protection Service and the ÁGOTA Foundation in Békés County, Hungary. The families received their certificates during a ceremony held at an institution in Békéscsaba.

To prepare for the role, candidates undergo a 60-hour training program. This includes a decision-making preparatory training followed by a 32-hour course covering medical, psychological, pedagogical, and legal fundamentals. The training also incorporates the KÁSZPEM® methodology to ensure caregivers possess the professional knowledge necessary to support children who often arrive with significant trauma and loss.
