Békéscsaba Előre NKSE advances in Women's Hungarian Cup

Békéscsaba Előre NKSE advanced to the next round of the Women's Hungarian Cup following a 34–19 victory against fellow Békés county side Zengő Alföld Orosházi Kézilabda Akadémia.

Békéscsaba led the match with an 18–10 score at halftime. Key contributors for the winning side included Varga H., who scored 5 goals, and Rnic, who added 6. Orosháza struggled with shooting efficiency despite fielding a young roster intended to provide playing time for developing athletes.

Békéscsaba coach György Marosán noted that the primary goal was progression and providing match experience to younger players to help rebuild the team's identity.
