Békéscsaba hosts 22nd International Railway Model Exhibition

The 22nd International Railway Model Exhibition and Locomotive Parade will take place in Békéscsaba from September 18 to 20. Hosted primarily at the VOKE Békéscsaba Railway Cultural Center, the event features extensive H0 scale model layouts, including a 50-meter winding track system and a 27-meter Lego railway section modeling the Budapest-Pécs line.

On Saturday, a locomotive parade and train operation will be held at the Békéscsaba railway station loading tracks. Visitors can climb on real locomotives and explore various railway vehicles. This year's event also includes a nostalgia bus experience featuring an Ikarus 266 bus.

A side event, the 3rd International Meeting of Railway Modeling Clubs, will focus on the theme of digital control. Participants and exhibitors are traveling from various locations, including Budapest, Debrecen, Szeged, and international locations such as Arad and Oradea.
