BKT and IdentiTek partner to integrate E-Coupon payments into BKT Smart

Banka Kombëtare Tregtare (BKT) and IdentiTek have signed a cooperation agreement to launch a new digital service through the BKT Smart mobile application. This partnership allows customers to purchase and pay for IdentiTek E-Coupons directly from their bank accounts.

The service covers various identification document applications, including identity cards, passports, and residence permits. By integrating these payments into the mobile app, the initiative aims to simplify daily processes for citizens, reducing the need for physical visits to payment points. The digital solution is designed to be accessible anytime and anywhere, providing particular convenience for customers residing outside of Albania.

Seyhan Pencabligil, Executive Director and Board Member of BKT, stated that the vision is to develop BKT Smart into a super-app that offers a wide range of essential daily services alongside traditional banking. Silda Anagnosti Çepe, Administrator of IdentiTek, noted that the company is building a service ecosystem focused on citizen needs through strategic digital partnerships.
