BKT extends United Rugby Championship partnership to 2030

Off-highway tyre manufacturer BKT has extended its partnership with the United Rugby Championship (URC) until 2030. Under the renewed agreement, BKT will transition from its role as Title Sponsor in the northern hemisphere to become the Official Global Tyre Partner for the tournament.

The expanded deal covers all five URC territories, including Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Wales, and South Africa. This extension marks an eight-season collaboration that originally began in 2022. The agreement was formalized at Stadio Lanfranchi in Parma, signed by BKT Europe Managing Director Lucia Salmaso and URC CEO Martin Anayi.

As part of the partnership, fan activities and grassroots rugby support are scheduled to resume at the start of the 2026/27 season. BKT maintains a broad sports sponsorship portfolio that includes the Six Nations, LALIGA, Serie B, Ligue 2, EuroLeague, and various cricket and curling competitions.
