Bílí Tygři Liberec prepares for season with title ambitions

Liberec ice hockey coach Jiří Kudrna and player Tomáš Galvas have outlined their objectives for the upcoming season with Bílí Tygři Liberec. Following a successful previous campaign where the team rose to third place in the standings, Kudrna expressed a desire to compete for the title while emphasizing a gradual approach to the season's challenges.

In addition to domestic competition, the team is preparing for participation in the Champions Hockey League. Kudrna noted that while the team aims for the championship, reaching the playoff semifinals would be considered a significant achievement.

Player Tomáš Galvas, who recently signed a three-year rookie contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins, will remain in Liberec for the upcoming season. Galvas intends to focus on improving his physical strength and dynamic movement. While he aims to play in the NHL, team sports director Michal Birner stated that staying in Liberec for another year is an ideal solution for all parties involved, allowing Galvas to continue his development under the team's guidance.
