Black Bear Minerals and Somerset Minerals report high‑grade mineral discoveries in Texas and Canada

Black Bear Minerals Ltd announced that re‑analysis of historic core from its Shafter silver project in Texas has revealed significantly higher silver grades, including an intercept of 8.5 m at 525 g/t Ag with a peak of 1,360 g/t, and notable gold mineralisation up to 0.7 g/t. The company plans to extend the historic core review across the resource footprint as it moves toward a JORC conversion and resource upgrade.

Somerset Minerals Ltd reported that its maiden reverse‑circulation drilling at the Talisker target within the Coppermine project in Canada intersected thick zones of copper‑silver mineralisation, such as 36.6 m at 1.62% Cu and 11.8 g/t Ag and 38.1 m at 1.27% Cu and 7.4 g/t Ag. Managing Director Chris Hansen highlighted the discovery as a validation of the company’s systematic targeting methodology and indicated confidence in a pipeline of similar targets across the district.
